Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with head hunters, directors, and leadership to develop effective sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies.
  • Build and maintain a network of high-caliber candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.
  • Recruit passive candidates, evaluating their motivation and long-term fit rather than simply selling a role.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to salary negotiations and closing offers.
  • Conduct high-quality assessment interviews, ensuring only the top 10% are discovered, onboarded and engaged.
  • Participate in recruitment initiatives including employer branding, marketing, process improvements, and candidate experience enhancements.

Experience


  • 4+ years of recruitment experience, with a focus on mid-to-senior hiring.
  • Deep knowledge of recruiting practices in South Africa (ZAF) and global markets.
  • Ability to source, engage, and close top-tier talent through a consultative approach.
  • Skilled at building strong partnerships with candidates.
  • Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • A results-driven mindset—you thrive in a high-performance, commission-based role.

Qualifications


  • Mix of agency and in-house recruitment experience is a plus.
  • Experience hiring in tech startups or high-growth companies.
  • Hands-on experience in employer branding and candidate experience initiatives.
  • Background in retail or high-volume recruitment is beneficial.
  • Familiar with ATS & OR CRM systems.
