Overview
Our client is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support product and technology teams in delivering process improvements and system enhancements. This role is ideal for someone early in their analysis career who wants hands-on experience working on real-world projects in a financial services environment. You’ll help gather requirements, support documentation, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements
- Support the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participate in process mapping and data flow analysis
- Engage with stakeholders under guidance from senior analysts
- Contribute to testing support and UAT coordination
- Help maintain clear, up-to-date documentation throughout delivery
- Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes
Experience
- 1–2 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Junior Analyst, or related support role
- Exposure to financial services, banking, lending, or insurance is beneficial
- Familiarity with Agile teams or software delivery environments
- Some experience working with requirements gathering or user documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or national diploma in Information Systems, Business, or related field
- BA training or certification (e.g., FTI, short courses, IIBA ECBA) is advantageous
