Overview


As a Telesales Consultant, you'll be the voice of the business—literally.
This role is about more than just making calls; it's about building trust over the phone, closing deals with confidence, and staying one step ahead of customer needs. You’ll be expected to hit sales targets, keep your pipeline fresh, and maintain exceptional customer relationships. From crafting compelling quotes to updating CRMs and managing accounts, your day will be a mix of precision, persuasion, and proactive communication. If juggling multiple tasks without dropping the ball sounds like your kind of challenge, this one’s for you.

Responsibilities


  • Execute telesales activities with passion, professionalism, and persistence
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Handle incoming sales calls and proactively generate outbound sales leads
  • Identify target customer groups and develop a personalized outbound call plan
  • Prepare quotes using company pricing tools and follow up within 24 hours
  • Maintain and update a quote register for tracking purposes
  • Manage customer orders via the internal order processing system
  • Provide full account management to ensure customer satisfaction across sales and marketing touchpoints
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, sharing performance data and competitor insights
  • Attend sales and product training as scheduled
  • Support ad-hoc sales projects and initiatives as requested by management

Experience


  • Experience in high-performance sales environments, ideally in IT or tech-related sectors
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong customer relationship management experience

Qualifications


  • Matriculation certificate (Grade 12)
