Overview
We are looking for a smart, passionate, and effective Senior Machine Learning Engineer. This role will be responsible for turning 7+ years' worth of data into valuable insights to drive efficiency, growth, and innovation. The Senior ML Engineer will be fundamental in crafting our ML and AI strategy over the coming years and will be the domain expert. This role is pivotal, and we are seeking someone with robust technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and dedication to delivering top-notch solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, iterate and rethink existing models for credit scoring and loan approvals
- Innovate on existing data and/or new sources of data to deliver more value to our customers
- Proactively seek out and recommend new types of data to collect that will improve our AI/ML capabilities in the future
- Advocate for and inspire others with the potential of AI/ML, including testing new technologies
- Build and maintain robust end-to-end data pipelines to support efficient AI/ML workloads and speed up the process of testing, evaluating, and adding/removing new features
- Collaborate closely with Product and Data departments to understand the customer, current insights, and highlight opportunities
Experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Experience with ML libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms like Amazon SageMaker
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in feature engineering, data preprocessing, and model evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, or Java
- Experience with ML libraries and frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
