Overview
As a Financial Recruiter at Oneo, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting global companies with top-tier finance talent. This isn’t just about filling roles, it’s about becoming a trusted partner to some of the fastest-growing startups and scale-ups in the world. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and placing elite finance professionals: CFOs, analysts, controllers, FP&A specialists, and more, into high-impact roles with global startups. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for someone who understands both recruitment and the unique demands of hiring within financial functions. You'll be joining a team that’s redefining how global hiring is done, with a focus on speed, quality, and human connection.
Responsibilities
- Source and engage high-caliber finance talent across Africa
- Conduct initial screenings and assess candidate fit based on role requirements
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate contracts, compliance, and onboarding logistics
- Stay on top of financial market trends and advise clients on hiring strategy
- Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure timely communication
- Uphold Oneo’s values and reputation as a trusted hiring partner
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in financial recruitment or executive search
- Proven track record placing finance professionals in growth-stage or international companies
- Experience recruiting across global or emerging markets is a plus
- Familiarity with startup environments or high-growth businesses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Recruitment training or certifications (desirable)
- Deep understanding of financial roles and terminology
